How do I link a second Square Enix Account to my PSN Account?

It is stated on the Lodestone that you may link multiple Square Enix Accounts to a single PSN account. I used a fresh account for PS3 access during phase 4, and now I'm trying to link my other account to PSN, that I intend to play primarily, but I can not figure it out. Since it is permanent, I really do not want to just "make another PSN account" if I can avoid it, since then I will never be able to correct it.

I would really appreciate any help or ideas.

Multiple copies of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn for PlayStation 3 may be registered to a Sony Entertainment Network account. Please note that only one Sony Entertainment Network account can be linked to a Square Enix account, which allows up to eight service accounts.

The link you posted is not helpful in any way. It says that you may only have one PSN per SE account, it does not say that you are limited to the number of Square Enix accounts. I am pretty sure they discussed this, and said that Sony was allowing multiple SE accounts per PSN account after some kind of negotiations, others share the same sentiment. If someone can show me where it says one SE account per PSN account I will believe you, but that is not what it says on the lodestone.

Did you put in your pre-order code into your main account or did you put it into the one you created separately for Phase 4? If you have 2 accounts both with characters, then you will not be able to combine them. When they say combine accounts, it's talking about sub accounts for the varies different SE sites, not 2 FFXIV game accounts.

I think you are misunderstanding what SE has said. A service account is 1 FFXIV account, not one Square Enix account.

1 Playstation account can have 1 Square Enix account. 1 Square Enix account can then be used for 8 FFXIV accounts.

I added 3 codes on my psn account and each one required me to boot the game up , accept the tos, and then pick a ffxiv account to put it on. I have 3 and was able to do all 3.
