Unable to update patch files [11006][20819][19900][5]

I saw a similar thread, but with a different code. I'm not sure if it's going to be the same issue or not, or if it's even related. I downloaded most of the patch, I'd say 99.9%. When it was nearly done I had gotten this error. I just realized I missed a bracket. It's [11006][20819][20890][19900][5]

I'm not sure what to do at this point. Re-downloading would take forever. My connection's very stable, but slow. Anyone have the same issue or know of anything that may help?

I grabbed a torrent and picked some files that seemed like they were different sizes instead of downloading the entire thing. Giving that a shot...

You could look at the suggested solutions in the other thread(s) and see if any of them helps you.

Of course, before that check that you've simply not run out of storage space.

If you restart the client, it should retry the last file needed for the launcher. Will save a little download time at least.

Hey rad make sure when you post screenshots of your launcher that you do not have your SE ID or any login information for someone to view.

Edit it with paint or delete the info.

Torrent Download of Patched Client-(23-8-2013)

I'm just going to download the torrent file by file until it works. Is there a list anywhere of which files were updated?

I had this exact same problem.

Here's what I did to try to fix it:

Reset my cable modem AND my wifi router.

Closed all applications.

Ran the installer.

Worked perfectly.

So, try to reset your internet and wifi connections and this might solve your problem!

I got it to work. I only downloaded and replaced the /boot folder and a few files in the /game/sqpack/ffxiv. I grabbed mostly the index files and some of the smaller data files. About 250MB total. The launcher says it's good now.

I got it to work too. Just had to uninstall and download everything again from scratch.
