Early Access/Product Code

The pre-order bonus code is for early access, you won't get the code for the actual game until you receive the hard copy through the post. If you've pre-ordered the digital version then I'm not sure about the full game access code, maybe someone who has pre-ordered the digital version could clarify that for you.

In the email you received there should be a link to the site where you enter your code to get a 20 digit code for PC or I think 12 digit code for PS3. I'm from the UK so I went to the EU site: preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com - if you're from NA I presume you replace the eu with na.

You insert your 18 digit code to the early access area to your respective region and then you will get a 20 digit code and instructions

Alright, going to clarify. Jessikia actually gave the right answer I was just being dense.

In your email, near the bottom, it will have a link that will guide you to a special page for you to put in the pre-order bonus code. That will then give you a larger, appropriate code for you to enter into the pre-order registration page.

I kept looking over the fact the email had such a link thinking it just took you to the pre-order registration page.
