soo redeeming EA code still doesnt work ...

I'm trying for 4 days now to register my EA code and only thing i get over and over is error 3. yes I read the stuff with changing stuff in your profile, but i cant even open my profile or user settings because site tells me there are too many redirections and deleting cookies may help. It doesnt help whatsoever ... I thought maybe it works with a VPN connection from another country but didnt work. Tried internet explorer, firefox, chrome, phone and ps3 browser and it just wont open.

My question now: WHAT THE HELL CAN I DO ? Basically press the submit button there for hours with a slight chance it might work ? I dont know anymore its just frustrating to fucking register a stupid EA code for another fucking code for days without success.

oh and I'm from austria and my EA code is from amazon PS3 version preorder, if it does help i dunno ...

Sounds like a real pain :-(

one thing that was mentioned that you may or may not have picked up on. at the top and in the address bar is NEEDs to say that you are logged in. sounds like that is the problem you need to fix. the cookies / redirects thing.

a couple things to try....
make sure your time is set correctly on your computer.
make a new user profile on your computer so everything is fresh and just do this one thing.

It tells me im logged in and I tried it also with a new user profile, but it still doesnt work :/ I just dunno what i can do anymore ... I guess no EA for me then, which sucks hard

You can try opening a live chat support, they might be able to help with your issue. But the wait time can be over 2hrs.

ok,

if you did not try this,
open IE, and go to internet options, on the advanced tab i think, there is a reset IE to defaults. also open up the add-on's and select "all add-ons" from the drop down, disable everything (might want to take a screen shot of what was enabled for later when you undo it). restart IE and giver her another try.

You did look at your time settings right?
Step 1: Right click on your time on the Windows Taskbar and select "Adjust date/time".
Step 2: Click on "Internet Time"
Step 3: Click on "change settings" and make sure it's set to "time.windows.com" and then press "Update Now".
Step 4: Manually adjust the date of your calendar to today's date and adjust the time to todays time.

Too many redirects error is due to either a plugin or program running that is to help with adware/spyware/scripts/etc. I suggest turning off or quiting any program that you have like that. Also, maybe turn off your Anti-Virus program as well, those too can offset the redirect's.

So if you have any plugings such as NoScript, Ad Block, Ad Block Plus, Ghostery, etc, turn them off. Turn off, or disable any VPN/Proxy's/etc. Then near your clock, in lower right corner, right click all little icons and exit all the programs you can. Make sure your browsers are closed while doing that. Then disable any of those icons as well, cause some Anti-Virus programs will not quit. After all that, open a browser, try to log in to your normal account. Since you state you could not before, you should be able to now. If you can, try to do your code. Maybe that will clear your issue.

I can get to the code entry thing where I type my code in and it also states that im logged in with my account, but I cant access either user settings or my profile. I dunno whats going on. I told a friend of mine he should try if his works and it did, so i let him try with my account information and he gets the same redirection issue. I really dont know anymore what else I can do since just stubbornly trying to register the code doesnt seem to work this way

edit: tried it on firefox, IE, chrome, my phone and PS3... doesnt seem to work on any platform ... my account is EU but it redirects me always to some NA site so I dunno ... dont think one of the square members is gonna help me with my problem. Already opened a ticket but yeah ... by the time they answer EA is probably over

what are the first 4 letters in your 18 digit code?
Is it RAAU? cause that would make it a North america code and that would be your issue.
