Thread: No valid or active service account is available PC

Hey guys, People have been talking about getting No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn alot for the PS3 version.

But I'm getting it for the PC version of the game, I am a 1.0 version player, I'm not legacy status and I don't have early access (I didn't pre-order, Don't see the point)..

Anyone know a FIX for this? I'm sorry if this has been asked before, But all I can see is people talking about the PS3 version with this error? Is it just a case of I don't have early access that I get this error? Or am I doing something wrong?

I was under the impression that all I had to do was load the game and play because I was a 1.0 member and I get 2 weeks free? I'm just wondering why I'm getting this error.

Also forgot to mention, I'm using the p4 client, I was told this is the right client I was able to use.

I'm also having this issue, and I'm legacy status. I'm kind of stumped.

There is no fix, OmniWorm. It's working as intended.

I'm also a 1.0 non-legacy player that didn't preorder. We will not be able to play until release.

We won't even be able to update the client until they let us register our payment info on the 27th, which makes perfect sense.

What determines legacy status? I believed i was legacy since i had a legacy toon on Balmung but maybe im mistaken and im waiting for an email that will never arrive..

This is how you know you're legacy: you should be able to download the 1GB client update from today, even without ever registering any preorder code.

i try to log in and all i get is an annoying no valid or active service account lol.

Non-legacy players don't get early access unless they register a pre-order code, yeah.

You can always try to call their support line if you want to be sure.
