FAO FFXIV DEV TEAM: Suggestion for the issues plaguing the game

Well this early access is a flop, due to the new restrictions I can't even login to play on a single EU Realm, i wonder what their plan is for when the game goes live?

"You just bought our game, but you can't login to play it lol"

Instead of limiting logins they should address the real issue on realm capacity or add more servers or better yet BOTH.

and that message of the world being full and to login later, is BS what time is later? why not add the queue so people can queue to login ¬_¬

And yeah, this is game launch there are due to be issues but the way SE are handling it is beyond a joke. Square are still MMO virgins if you don't count FFXI (great game).

Yes they made a great MMO here, but the game is not ready to go live with these issues, if the game does go live with these issues the game will fail badly, and i don't want that to happen because i like this game...

so what would be the way forward?

Take all servers down for maintenance, JP, NA & EU.

Upgrade the servers, add more servers, push the release date back by a month or two and have Open beta during this period from now until the week before the release date THEN Have "Early Access" and release the game.

Sure people will complain about the game being pushed back, but do you think they'd complain more about the game being pushed back, or the game being released which you can't play or has alot of issues which stop the players from playing, losing subscriptions and quite possibly consumer trust.

Although now there are advertisements on T.V. for the game's release it's probably too late to do what I've suggested with pushing the game's release back a month or two, but i can only hope and pray they get themselves sorted out and fast!

before anyone says anything like "have you never played an MMO at launch before" or anything along the like, yes i have, and the ones I've played handled the whole process a lot better so don't even go there.

Well that's the end of my rant / advice / suggestions on how to get out of the hole Square Enix have currently dug themselves into.

They should upgrade these Pentium 3 servers before they make any more moves imo
