Launcher

Updating launcher with the new patch. I clicked a link inside the launcher for the "Known Issues", read it, closed it. Now launcher is black and unresponsive. Duplicated twice, same results. I know, "Don't click the link then", right? But, it shouldn't be an either/or, I should be able to read the links while updating.

Hmm I do not get a black and unresponsive screen when I do it.


I opened it twice and it seems to be working fine for me.

The launcher is very finicky for some people regarding it's browser-based technology behind it.

Things involved .NET Framework, updating IE, turning off AV's....

You aren't the only one though. =P

Yeah I just had a guy with a parent/child error and it seems like its a setting in the browser.

I had same problem and after 4 hours of searching solution. It helped that i put default internet settings from explorer. Go to tools and bottoms is properties and there last tab at right and bottom of that page use default settings etc.Then just reopen explorer to get settings inuse and also same to launcher.

If u get unable to download version when clicking play. You need to clear temp folder,go to users/user/appdata/local/temp.
Also you need to have showing hidden folders on to see appdata folder.
