7 Free Days on Wed.

So I just read that we only get 7 days added on our accounts. Yet this thing has been going on since early access and if my math is right that is 12 days in total that we'd been affected by this issue (that's counting till next Wednesday).

Some will be like "at least we got 7 days" but the fact is they have taken more time from us then they are giving. This is free, we've paid for this time yet most of us can't play and some can't even create a character.

There has also been no word on free transfers so I wouldn't expect to see my friend joining me now that they gave in and started to play on totally different server. If they can't join me for free then I'm more then likely not going to continue playing. Because I don't know about any of you but after doing 31 levels of basically solo it's getting boring.

I really enjoy the game and the time I did get a chance to play with one of my friends I enjoyed. But this whole experience with the servers has ruined it for me. This has been the worst MMO launch I've been in and I've been playing MMOs for over 13 years now.

To anyone who's defending them. I don't want to see "every mmo has issues" because that's BS. Also don't want to see stop whining, servers take time, and they weren't expecting this many people.

Because imho I have a reason to "whine" because I paid.
Servers take time, YES I understand I've worked a little with them before being in the IT world but this is no excuse.
Also this "they weren't expecting" is total BS. I believe they had a lot of people with connection issues in OB. Well boom if you can't handle that you may need to rethink your setup.
Please if you don't agree with me please leave a reason why. Thank you all for reading my complaining.

It would be kind of hard to determine how much playing time each person has lost. Some people have been able to log on most of the time. I think 7 days is reasonable. But more importantly, they are adding more servers (worlds), but haven't mentioned expanding existing worlds. I would guess that when they open the new worlds, the current ones would remain closed for a time to direct new players to create characters on the new worlds. In that case they should allow everyone a free transfer to join friends and spread the population.

So nobody can disagree? Because you are whining, server issues dont get fixed immediately and no they were not expecting this many people 230k+ concurrent users is HUGE, I dont think people realise how big a number this really is for concurrent log ins.

Didnt pay for EA you preordered and as a thank you for being a confirmed purchaser you get in early, the game launched on the 27th. By the time they fix it your more or less getting an additional week for a week of problems.

Ehh...I guess 7 days is good enough.
It's almost been a week since the whole crap...actually, it has been if you wanna count EA.
I hope things smooth out or else 7days aren't enough.

thats just bull.

wich game had no problems with launch? wow?, eq? WoW had 1-2 months of constant server problems, EQ had also a nearly a month of server problems.
Aion? lots of problems there too, Linage 2? GW? one of the few i can take in 1 finger is the one lord british made, but that was in the time of nearly no one playing a mmo.
and yes they werent expecting, you have some data to take from and it may be heavily wrong or right, thats why you have metacalculation people to do this, and even they can project wrong amount,

Most other companies dont give a crap.
A month of issues on a Blizzard game snagged you, at most, only 2 or 3 free days.

@Tribunus People can disagree, everyone has the right to their own opinion. I just wanted to hear something "new" instead of the same 3 things I keep seeing over and over. Also I did pay for EA, everyone who pre-ordered did. If they would of surprised us after we all pre-ordred with EA then I'd accept it. But because it was a promise if we would buy prior to release that to me means I paid for it.

@Celandri My main complaint is I can't play with my friends. The queue this game has is terrible if you can call it one. I know games have issues first week or so. But not being able to login at all and having to be separated from my friends is beyond acceptable. I've dealt with BAD lag, game breaking issues, and many other issues. But normally they're fixed within the first week if its to the point people can't play. This is all based off my experience I remember.
