If you're a legacy player you wont recieve a code, you should just be able to log in.Hello!
I haven't been able to download FFXIV: ARR ever. I have participated in beta phases by copy/pasting my friend's successfully downloaded version. What happens is it will connect to the download servers, download a couple hundred MB and then get disconnected. I don't have any firewalls enabled, and my computer is set as a DMZ host on my router even.
Secondly, I don't have my EA code either. I am a legacy player who paid more than 3 consecutive months and have a legacy icon on one of my accounts. Am I mistaken in thinking we'll need a code and things will just work?
Lastly, I made a character during beta phase 4 on my 1.0 beta service account and not my 1.0 retail service account. My retail service is the one that received the "Legacy" status and I was wanting to know if I'll be able to play my beta phase 4 made on the other service during EA?
Thank you very much for your time and effort, I'm sure you're all working very hard.
As far as the download issues, quite a few posts are circulating about the same issue without a resolution.
