    Legacy 1.0 Character and I want the Extra items!

    I am a legacy 1.0 Character, I do not have the CE from 1.0. However I want to get the extra items that are available if you purchase the CE for FFXIV: ARR. Can someone please tell me in layman's terms what I need to do? Do I have to purchase the digital copy of FFXIV:ARR? If not, then what?

    Wait until they release the Mog Station thing or whatever they're calling it.

    There will be an option for anyone without a collector's edition to buy an upgrade to get the CE items, (Digital CE upgrade) so wait until then. I think it's like $20.

    Found it on the pre-order site:

    Collector's Edition Digital Upgrade** (Requires Base Game) $19.99

    ** The Collector's Edition digital upgrade offers customers the ability to upgrade their standard FFXIV account to digital Collector's Edition status via the “FFXIV Service Center” website that is scheduled to be opened at the launch of official service, which then grants the in-game bonus items included with the Collector's Edition. Customers in possession of the Collector's Edition for either version 1.0 or A Realm Reborn will receive these Collector's Edition items without needing to purchase the upgrade.

    From what I was told you get the 2.0 CE in game items automatically. You just dont get the physical items.
    Probably lied to though I was.../sadyodaface

    This statement makes no sense since he said he doesn't have the original CE just standard, so no you wouldn't automatically get 2.0 CE items.....

    2 Options.

    1. Wait till launch and do the digital upgrade to CE.

    2. Purchase PS3 CE and link that to your PC account. You get the extra preorder items with this if you get the bonus code.

    Thank you guys, you have been most helpful!. I will wait to get the CE upgrade then! now... is there a way to get 1.0 CE upgrade as well?
