Can't post anywhere because daily limit counted wrong

Beta forums were the exact same way with the new post max (20 / 24 hrs) and if you had 20, you couldn't post until one of them passed the 24 hr mark.

Cool... I guess I'll be able to post my reply I've written in the dps subforum in 23 hours. I'll set my alarm.

Like I said above new player help forum posts don't count. If they did count I wouldn't have been able to make this thread because you need to be at least level 25 to make new threads.

Created topics have their own limit and don't count toward the post count. Even when exceeding the post count and topic creation count, you can still post here. I am above my post count and can't post anywhere but here (and posting here counted toward my total posts. I only made 13 posts elsewhere, when I ought to have had 20 available to me. I didn't say that you're restricted...I said they COUNT...

Example... You have a clean 20 posts available to you at the start of the day...

You make 3 posts in the New Player Help threads, and you make 2 reports on posts... You now only have 15 posts which you can use elsewhere.

Sadly some people spam forums with huge posts and make the entire process unworkable. It is tough and hard but as a Forum Admin myself i know that this sort of limit is really necessary...after all we are here to play THE GAME the forum communication is a nice adjunct but we need to be supportive of the devs. I hope they may relax the limits a bit, forcing everyone to have high level counts seems a bit unfair to new players but they did allow this section to be out of the limit and Tech Support too.

Posts here aren't supposed to count but they do. If you post here 3 times then you can't post in places with the restriction because the forum thinks you've already posted 3 times for the day. It's likely a bug.

New player help should not count towards your total post count. So I guess this thread can be to complain about that now.

If you read the forum guidelines it says new player help doesn't count and especially since I have posted about 8-9 posts in this forum already I would say that is wrong.

I did read it. Yesterday I made 1 post in general and 2 in new player and I couldn't post in general again until today.
