    To anyone wanting their money back

    If you are wanting your money back please do us a favor never play a mmo again. this is how they work first few weeks of launch they fix all the problems that come up no game is without this progress even mmo tycoon World of Warcraft. hell WoW wasnt even really playable for almost a month after release and even now they release a xpac and its buggy for a week or so till everything is fixed so please stop bitching and asking for a refund cause you wont get one.

    My friend got a refund by contacting Digital River, the company in charge of pre-orders purchased on Square Enix website. You just gotta use the correct words when you contact them.

    Also, to the OP: Comparing a MMO released in 2004 to a MMO released in 2013? Really?? Many AAA mmos had a smooth launch between WoW and FF14:ARR. You might think you're the shit for posting this thread but in fact you're the clueless of the clueless.... bottom drawer clueless.

    Next time you wanna feel embarrased, just come back here and read yourself... jesus.

    seriously u guys need to get off SE knob expecting people in 2013 to bet happy with crap because its normal? really when did we let the bar get so low that we will live off any scraps they give us and be grateful? Sorry the ball has been dropped huge. 2 days now with three hours of play u call normal I call brown steamy pile. So u go on keep smokin that SE pipe fairly certain they lost alot of customers and this will just get worse in because in 24hrs IGN will post on the web and 36hrs it goes world wide release and if u think the stink is bad now wait til tons more are on and the crap will def hit the fan. These errors have been happening on our servers for weeks with no fix no way they will pull it together before the world see's it and walks away and you may say Hey thats cool less people well to SE stock holders who are standing by to see if this will be the end of their company its a very big deal to keep all customers at this point. You may want to sell your SE stock early.

    to be fair... lets take Aion as an example. They had Open beta... Open Beta.. Open Beta.. Open Beta then Early access which ended up with 9 hour queues.

    so far good comparison.

    Except you don't get 9 hour queues with this game if the queue is over 100 it kicks you off and says the "world is full get lost" even after spending so many hours on it. In fact if you continue attempting to log in "it then LOSES the NA/EU character servers" for 10 minutes before you can try again.

    That is awful. The communication is just endless "we're sorry" "we apologise" "we're hoping for a stable community"

    if this continues into launch, they won't worry about the refunds, as the damage would already be done. The game will end up like the first FF14... this is their second chance and so far... they're failing. sadly.

    Im not asking for my money back but i have a right to complain for not getting what i paid for, 2 days of early access passed and i still cant play, sure other mmo's had lag , maintenance etc but as the 100th MMO released a freaking re-release of all things this shouldnt be thus bad and them saying " oh sorry servers are cloggged please try again "later is pathetic, this level of service would of been tolarable 10 years ago but not anymore.

    I would say, get your refund and do it quietly. If you are displeased get your refund. I don't understand why we all must justify our little decisions and take people with you. Some of you sound way under the intended age of this game. Constant....

    I don't want my money back either, but it is fair to voice our frustrations. This is easily the worst rollout I have seen in 10 years. It was very apparent in P4 that SE did not know how to stabilize or scale their environment.

    For me, its still too early to be wanting a refund, but that doesn't change the fact that players who have access to early access have paid for it. This isnt beta anymore, its the pre order incentive time for those who have already paid their money. If one wants a refund because the product is not as advertised, or the product is not functioning as intended, than they deserve a refund. That is why ppl get refunds for anything.

    Like I said tho. For me its still too early to want a refund. I am very frustrated for sure, in fact I am rather pissed of. Every time I try to log in I cant, and I was so looking forward to this weekend of being able to play. If this is still going on after the 27th however.. I will probably start thinking about that refund, and I will be entitled to it as a paying customer that has not able to make use of a product the way it was intended to be used.
