Ridill English Linkshell

Since there will be some NA/EU players staying on Ridill either permanently or until character transfers open we should have our own linkshell so that those who are not proficient in Japanese can keep in touch.

Starting tomorrow morning I will be on channel RidillENG. I have a several classes at various levels from 1-45 so if anyone wants to do some group content we should coordinate there.

I'll be honest and say i'm not a fan of the name, perhaps you could come up with something a bit more classy than something that could otherwise be viewed as racist by exclusion? Even if the intent it to build an English speaking Community?

Even Ridill Eternal or something. Using English words can imply that we're an English speaking LS or FC.

I'm a Lv.50 THM. I'll be looking into doing BLM and WHM Quests this weekend, albeit I'll have to level my off classes if they are still required.

Wait what? This isn't a Free Company, if you want to make a FC then call it whatever you like. Its a chat channel and I never said a word about excluding anyone, I simply said it was a place for English speakers on a non-English speaking server can communicate. Thats not racist and anyone who misconstrues it as such is fine to go about their business.

Hey Guys I am French and i live in Japan. So i have make on beta 4 a LS and FC Akihabara for my two brother, some french and my japanese wife. We will myabe just keep this LS for close friends and maybe for communication with English speaking, french and some japanese but i don't know what we will do for the future. I am a old V1 player with 8 lvl 50 job and classe and the other ppl are new player, like my wife and some french ppl.

I wish more players frequented the forums. I see plenty of ENG on the server but no one active on the forums.

I didn't see that many English people online when I played. most shouting was in Japanese, even at mid-day Eastern Standard time. I've been playing a char on a NA character (when I could log into it.)

I did however unlock BLM and get all my Wizard's gear w00t w00t.
