Havent try retainer yet. I believe Retainer now is aka Auction House? Am I right?

Retainer is how you sell on the market, also your bank. You can access the market boards before that though.

Yes, each retainer can list up to 20 items on the "auction house" of special note, when you summon a retainer to put new items up for auction or deposit/withdraw items, the auctions they were listing are temporarily unavailable until you dismiss them.

There is no fee for posting, when sold 5%(I'm not 100% sure on that amount) is deducted from what you earned (Note: the buyer also pays a fee too, but that doesn't affect the amount you receive). I believe auctions are listed for 7 days (They're buyout only, there's no reason to list them for shorter times), the timer is refreshed anytime you summon then dismiss your retainer.

Got a source for that claim? That wasn't my experience during P4, but I didn't closely inspect my earnings.

Well, no source, I just read through all the retainer questions that the retainer creator lady offers, you can also ask her to tell you what each city's tax rates are.
