[Bug] EXP/SP gain display in chat.

    Platform: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
    ISP: Cox Cable
Type of Internet Connection: Fiber Optic
    Internet Connection Speed: 31Mbps
    Date & Time: Apr. 8, 2011 23:30 CST
    Frequency: Random occurence
    Character Name: Reika Shadowheart
    Race: Miqo'te
    World: Karnak
    Class/Skill Rank: Thaumaturge R47
    Physical Level: 50
Area and Coordinates: Ul'dah Adventurer's Guild
Party or Solo: Pary, 8 members
    NPC Name: N/A
Monster Name: Blotched Mongrel (and every other monster)
    In-Game Time: 1100
    Steps:
-Me and party engage Blotched mongrel. It's name turns red to indicate it is enguaged
-We proceed to kill it, after words, no txt is displayed on the screen for EXP or SP gain, but it is still shown on the SP bar that SP was gained. Other times, it just shows EXP gained but no SP gained, but SP is still actually gained.

It is a random occurrence with all monsters. Even tho EXP and SP is actually gained, it sometimes doesn't show in the chat box.

    Greetings, Reika!
Thank you for posting your concerns regarding the EXP/SP gain display. I can understand how annoying it can be to have this information fail to appear, so I have made sure to submit your report to the development team for further investigation. I recommend checking on this thread for any further details about the progress of the investigation. Thanks again for the report!

    Greetings again, Reika!
Thank you for your patience with the wait for a response to your report. After a thorough inspection based on the information that you have provided, the development team deemed this matter to be linked to connection latency, since you stated that it only happens occasionally, and you are still receiving the SP/XP. If you continue to experience this trouble on a more frequent basis, I recommend submitting another detailed report through another thread, and we will make sure to pass along the information for you to the development team. Thanks again for your patience!
