Game Time Card Question

So for some reason our local game store is already selling the game and it's time cards. I'd like to ask are the game time cards region locked or something, or do these game time cards have some sort of universal codes?

Because I don't really live in NA but our local game store sells games for all regions so I wouldn't want to end up buying game time cards only for it to not work.

I'm in Australia and just checked my local game retailers site and they are selling cards as well but that only proves that if they are region locked you can buy the right ones and so you would need to ask your retailer if those cards work and if not will you be able to get a refund.

On a side note it will likely end up cheaper to buy your time directly from Square Enix as long as you dont add the price of the pain killers. ;P
