PSN says promotional code incorrect/no longer valid

i'm still having issues with my PS3 promotional code. the PSN is still saying it's incorrect/no longer valid, the OB client says i have an unregistered/inactive account when i try to log in to run updates for EA, i pre ordered the physical copy of the CE version from Gamestop.com back in July (got the 18 digit EA code 2 hours after i pre-ordered it). i'm really anxious for SE to get back to me on fixing this so i can feel at ease knowing that i'll be in EA. i've tried every form of work around mentioned by other users but to no avail.

I was in the same boat with a preorder from Amazon. I ended up just cancelling it and ordering via PSN. I guess this doesn't work if you want the physical items from CE though. Hopefully they update people about this soon.

I have heard some have had luck with SE live chat giving them a new code. Lots got dropped from the queue after an hour of waiting too, but maybe it's worth trying.

The incorrect code is most likely you have the code for the wrong region. Check your account for the pre-order site and see if you are set for NA or EU

says "United States" language set to "English (US)" as for live chat, where do i go for live chat? support only gives me email support.

you have to choose your support options carefully. they only allow the chat feature for certain items, and for others it's email only.

I preordered from Gamestop and I called them this morning and told them what was going on and they gave me a new pre-order code and I input it and got a second PSN code and everything worked perfectly.

well, i stopped getting the "incorrect/invalid" error from PSN, problem is now i'm getting this error:
"An error has occured. (80023156)"
and i honestly have no idea what that means.

oh, okay. how long until i can try to redeem one again? just got off support with SE and they were kind enough to give me a sparkly new promo code...

Pretty much it seems the Square Enix doesn't give a crap about this. You pretty much S.O.L
