I'm a 1.0 player and im also getting the no valid or active service account. I have an EA code to use tho, and just don't have anywhere to plug it in. Where does one do this?

That means you're not a legacy player then. is it a 20 digit code or shorter? if it's the later just go to the link that's with it in the email and redeem it there. When prompted login with your usual account details and from there it speaks for itself tbh.

It's a 20 digit EA code. I didn't use the pre order code because I already have an account, and didn't need a new account, I just needed EA. I gave the game code to a friend, and he tossed me the EA code in exchange.

I was under the impression it was simply supposed to ask for an EA code upon attempting to login, and you'd just have to plug it in and be good to go. Is this not the actual case? Were the mods wrong?

I can copy/paste the link it got from SE by mail where to redeem the 20digit code. Only problem is that my link is for EU so unless you are it won't be of any use to you.

If you aren't then sorry i can't help any further. Maybe (big maybe) changing the rgn=eu&lng=en into rgn=na&lng=en changes it to the US version but this is just a guess on my end.

Run the launcher as admin, it's usually a read/write issue on files without proper permission
