Early Access code applied, but getting "no valid or active service account..."

I have two accounts. One is 1.0 without EA and one is a new account I made to actually play FFXIV:ARR. I put my EA on my new account. I even got the email on the new account with the code and everything. (It said it was PC and NA ...all that jazz.) I tried to login to the launcher with my new account and I get the "no valid or active service" message. I logged in with my 1.0 account and everything was fine...which I thought should not be the case?

    What's going on?

Are you trying to log into the PC or PSN when you try this?

I'd like to update this to say that something really weird happen. I had to cancel my Amazon pre-order and re-enter my EA code. It works fine now!
