[Excalibur] FC - Shift Break (Building a community first...)

Hello and well met Adventurers!

We are a Free Company on the Excalibur server, seeking to grow our own ‘true’ community and provide a ‘home’ for those who adopt our mindset and philosophy. Shift Break departs from traditional mono-focused groups.

We want our members to feel like they belong! We do that through a Divisional-Segmentation of Content Purpose. More simply: We want family who are interested in fulfilling all sorts of roles. We don’t just want end-game raiders! We value and want:

• Master Craftspeople
• Gathers
• Hunters
• Researchers
• Event Coordinators
• Trainers and Mentors

If any of these roles sound like one (or several) of the many hats you wear…then perhaps consideration is due to ponder the implications of belonging to somewhere where they respect and appreciate your efforts.

Shift Break welcomes and beckons those wishing to develop family, friends and community in ARR.

I am glad to call Shift Break my home The people I've met have been very welcoming, have helped me out, and answered all my newbish questions (I am a fresh adventurer afterall!). Such a pleasant community after dealing with the hateful places I've had to suffer in the past... ^_^

A truly mold "break"-ing Free Company that adopts old traditions of Hierachy with new philosophies of Content Assignment & Responsibility to willing and capable hands. Not only does it offer a place to genuinely tap in to the game experience but Shift Break offers a "Home" for building the Family experience of game play and player to player interaction. I felt part of the family after a few chats with Core members during my Beta Phase 2 experience with the FC and have felt that way since. hey i am a legacy player and i just want a free company where i can chill not feel under any pressure and just enjoy myself whilst having a laugh with others as i have all jobs to 50 apart from crafts and gathering and arcanist so i will be mainly concentrating on those , does this sound like a linkshell i will fit in with...

@ Luke_Deathhunter - There is place really for all, so long as you, in your chilling, align with our core philosophies: Are helpful in nature, a positive person, and want to contribute to the good of the FC. Contribution is varied, as such there isn't pressure to to RAID and do content, Please believe their are multiple groups established in the FC to do this. As it is, those wanting to become MORE involved will put that pressure on themselves, to fight for the right to join some of those groups. (This refers to scheduled RAIDS and events, PUG groups within the FC will likely be happening quite a bit!)

Keep in mind though there is never a 'free ride' in life nor is there in our FC. If you want something out of it (Material or Social) you have to put into it. Balance, Give and Take, Support and Rewards.

This sounds like the kind of FC I'd like to join!

As much as I would like to do end-game raiding when I hit 50, I don't want to limit myself to just that. I plan on working up all of my classes, including gathering/crafting, to get the full experience of the game!

Is there anything I need to fill in or sign up on? The 2nd link mentions a questionnaire but I didn't see one?

IIRC, you have to have a guildwork account, and under About Us is Recruitment... the application should be there. You then fill out the questionaire and one of the officers will contact you from there. Sorry I wasn't faster to responding, seems my internet is out at home and my ISP can't come out to fix it till Thursday :| So I'm having to go to my university and use the internet there for my class work and gaming till then XD
