yes one guy who I will get the name tomorrow stated that he paid members of PBC 10000 gil for run thru dungeon/instance they took the gil and ran off laughing only reason why I posted it in here was I thought this was a post of people who was warning others of this FC did not know it was a recruitment post. I would not slander anyone I was just trying to warn people what I was told. A few other people who I don't know in zone also spoke up about similar incidents but I can not attest to that. I was just searching posts on possible FC's to join when I saw this and again it was fresh in my mind and I thought this was a post warning people. Sorry I posted in your recruitment post. I imagine you will find out when the GM investigates.

Please Be Careful when spreading baseless accusations about us in a public forum. Whatever we may be in another game, scamming is not tolerated in this game, and we do not allow it. Can you provide the name of the party member(s)?

I don't remember the name of the people, but I saw the same shouts while I was in Little Ala Mhigo yesterday. One person claimed they had paid $10 to join the PBC forums or something, and their money was taken and they weren't let in.
Another said they'd paid a member 10,000 gil for them to help with a dungeon, and they took the money and ran off.

I can't look up their names since that was the other day, but trixter67 is being honest about what she saw.

If you are referring to EVE, the majority of our members are not from that game, and the ones that are know not to engage in that kind of behavior. Echoing from our FC rules:

We are just nerds like you playing a catgirl fantasy game and wish nothing more than to get along with the rest of the community. To clarify, this is probably a case of what we usually refer to as "J4G": someone ponied up the ten bucks to the SomethingAwful site forums and tried to get into the guild just after signing up and was told no, because we do not take people who just join the forum for the guild. Hence, "join for guild", or "J4G". Goon experience in general is that J4Gs tend to be very bad, toxic players, and so most goon groups have a rule that you need to have been on the forums for x number of months and be an SA community member in (relatively) good standing before being allowed to join. The PBC forums (which are a separate entity from SomethingAwful and aren't formally affiliated with Lowtax or SomethingAwful LLC in any way) themselves have no fee, but you must meet the conditions to actually be accepted to the internal forums and the guild.

In short, Please Be Careful when spending :tenbux: in an attempt to join PBC immediately! It will get you nowhere.
