Pre-order Service Issue

So after i registered my pre-order code, i got to the service screen where you choose your service and characters taken over from p4, i did not see my main character listed there so i went onto a new service and then the client starting updating.
Does that mean that i won't have access to my characters from phase 4 or is there a fix to that?
If anyone has idea please let me know because EA starts tommorow and i'd rather not have to start all over again.

The weird thing is that my characters are still accessible when i registered on here so i'm a little confused.

If you signed into your account information (that you use to sign into the game during the beta phase) , when applying the 20 digit early access code, then you are perfectly fine.
