Post your free companies with NO voice chat requirements

Do you have a free company that doesn't enforce voice chat? Well if you do I would like you to post it below. For all those people out there where voice chat may not be a option, or they find it annoying.

With that said I would like to say I joined up with the The Vanguard just before phase 4 started. I have included them in the list below, and this is the post that made me want to join.

" The Vanguard on Excalibur will take anyone regardless of system or voice-chat usage. sure the leader would like people to have voice chat, but it's not a necessity. they have high tolerance for people messing up and such, here's an example. i take care of my two physically/mentally disabled parents for a living. sometimes i'd have to afk for 30 minutes or so when doing ifrit because they needed something or i was putting them to bed/had to give them their meds, most of the time this happened before we actually went in. did they have a problem? nope, they were cool about it. sure one time i took over an hour and was obviously kicked from pt for a replacement, but honestly i was hoping they'd do that. i didn't feel like wasting too much of their time lol. "`

Below is a list of all the free companies posted so far. I will try to keep this updated as often as I can.

Auxiliary on Goblin, We have a mumble, but we don't make it the focus of our play. Talk on it if you want to, but it's not required at all. We will work with you to figure out how best to communicate in end game, but we would like to see you around our forums, and a bit active in the community, but that's it.

Blood of the Phoenix on Balmung, I'm working on organizing a site for my free company that I'll be starting asap. we'll be generally voice-free (unless you feel like doing it, but it will never be a forced issue). were accepting of ALL players Console, PC, Legacy and non-legacy, people of all skill levels.

Clandestine on Ragnarok, We do not require voice chat though we do have it for those who wish to use it. We do require that you know how to type and know how to read. Oh! You know how to do that? You're golden!

Crimson Knights on Masamune, My Company does not enforce Voice Chat. While we do have it for those that do, we do cater to those that don't. If your interested come check us out!

Deus.Ex.Machina on Cerberus, No website provided. We will not force our members into doing anything they don't want to do themselves, be it voice chat or rush into end game. Everyone in the FC are free to play the game the way they want to play it, the only thing that would get you kicked out of our FC is if you're being a complete asshole.

Chocobo Feather on Excalibur, we don't enforce it unless for raiding and endgame content... but still I would rather talk to people then restrict em but hey that is my personal opinion...

Eorzean Explorers Society, (Seems to be on Balmung, but poster didn't say.) The Explorers Society is a group of silly fun-loving folks. We look for people who can laugh and discuss philosophy at the same time. LGBT friendly. We race across Mor Dhona naked. We discuss Ponies. We intend to enjoy every bit of fun ARR can give us and then we make up our own fun. We are not for people who get mad at newbies, or call things "gay" that they don't like. Cussing is not allowed in chat.

HeavenisticChaos on Cactuar, We were a LS that was on FFXI for 7+ years, many of my members have been together for that duration, which is why FB is a viable option to pose as a gathering place.As the leader, I have no real intention of conducting voice chats for any reason, therefore I don't expect my members to. We have certainly gotten very used to communicating via chat log, so there is no loss of efficiency in game play by any standard. I know utilizing FB makes it a little more personal, as oppose to signing up on a forum and just using your gamer tag, but this group and my members have a pretty close bond with each other, so it's a very tight collection of individuals. With that said, everyone is welcomed to join us. I accept any type of players.

Hexen on Leviathan, We don't require voice chat, except for leadership when necessary. That being said, most of us do use it. They are also a positive, LGBT friendly, adult oriented FC/LS.

Kazoku on Ultros, Kazoku is a multi-content based Free Company and Linkshell. We have a Voice chat program, but it is completely optional to talk in it. If you wish to be part of a Raid, you need to listen in at minimum for instructions. Supports both Playstation and PC gamers, Events/Raids are optional.

Mirai on Tonberry, Encouraged for endgame raiding but you are not required to have it installed to join. Main raid team requires it installed but you don't need to talk. But you don't need to join the main raid team either.

Moogle Knights on Gilgamesh. No website provided. The whole point is to be helpful, welcoming and working as a team, and as far as people being "sketchy" without voice chat? I have two teenagers aged 16 and 17 in my home who fight non-stop. The favorite argument is "shut up!" "Don't talk to me!" (Brilliant ain't it?) Me not using voice chat? Doing you a favor Big time.

Nekomimis FTW on Behemoth, In White Knight Chronicles (where our guild began), we had a policy of keyboard only when in guild rooms or parties that were not private groups due to the fact that we had a good number of folks in our guild who had difficulties with voice chat. We had a few that were hearing impaired. People don't tend to take gamers like that into consideration when they require certain types of play. We had folks who were very shy or had speech issues and maybe had difficulties with the language. Some were not native speakers and reading the words was much easier to understand. MANY of us are socially shy and simply preferred to not do voice. I am not confident in a social situation and voice chat is not easy for me. I know there are plenty of others like me. Plus, people tend to say things in the heat of battle that they don't really mean and it is not a great situation. When you have to take the time to type, it at least gives you a chance to consider your words. Additionally, in our house, we have 3 family members all playing at the same time in the same room on separate PS3s, so having voice chat would not be feasible. So there are tons of reasons to NOT have voice chat.NekomimisFTW will not ever require voice chat. Join us. And have fun! We ask that members be 15 or older unless they are in game with a parent due to unrated nature of online interactions.

Phoenix Down on Hyperion, Our group doesn't require it, and have PC and PS3 (eventually ps4) players. We have already had good fun on Hyperion.

Pride of Lions on Ragnarok, We will happily have anyone as long as they are friendly and up for a laugh ^_^

Regalius on Hyperion, We are a multi-content based Free Company and Linkshell.We have a Voice chat program, but it is completely optional. Age: 18+ (Exception: If a Parent or Guardian plays, but wants their children to play with them as well. By this, they are held responsible for whatever the child does on the forums and in-game while within Regalius.)

Risk Breakers on Ragnarok, I just want to start by saying we are more focused on creating a pleasant environment for new and old players alike. We want to be a friendly and helpful group that stays away from the stress of "not being good enough". We have the philosophy that we all have to start somewhere. We aren't all born naturals at the game and we would like to foster the next wave of players in MMO's instead of quashing their interest. We are here to build you up. We are also from many different time zones ranging from Canada to Scotland so we will hopefully have someone online at all times to help answer questions or assist on goals. We would appreciate it if everyone in the Linkshell/Free Company would bring a similar attitude to the group. So if you are up for the challenge of breaking the mold of the stereotypical CoD rage gamer then apply today!

Viva Eorzea on Hyperion, At Viva Eorzea, we welcome everyone that wants a friendly, helpful community. We are both a linkshell and a free company, and whilst we do use RaidCall for voice chat, it is by no means required, and the large majority will probably not be using it anyway. Run by Grover Eyeveen, we are, I guess, a standard, all-round community, running dungeons every night and raids whenever they are introduced, crafting, gathering, saving gear for newbies, as well as sometimes just sitting around and talking.

Great thread! This will really help some people out. Good idea.

Just a suggestion, especially if you get a lot more guilds to add, it might be easier for people to use if the FCs were categorized and separated by servers.
