Code length wrong?

The code redemption field at http://preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/ is 18 characters long but the code I received in my e-mail is 20 characters long... What the hell am I supposed to do? :s

You dont need to do the preorder code on that website because you already redeemed the code (i guess you bought at SE store)
all you need to do is go to this link

And follow the steps on that page

the preorder website is just to get your Early access code

Okay that part's already registered and the game appears under my account, but does that mean I can get into early access? I'm confused.

Download the FFXIV client from the link SE gives you during the registration and try to log in.

If you can successfully log in then you know you have Early Access

If you can login with you account on the launcher (update it first if you got it from phase 4)
And get this message

Please wait until the start of the early access period or official launch to access the game

You are all set for EA
