Did I redeem my code correctly?

First off, I purchased a hard copy of the 1.0 game back in around June 2011. I registered the game to my SE account but never played due to the crappy Click2Buy payment method.

Now I pre-ordered a physical copy of the collector's edition. I successfully got my 18-digit pre-order code, and redeemed it for my 20-digit.

My problem is that, after entering it, I got a list of two permanent services, a FFXIV Service Account and a FFXIV Beta Service Account. I am not sure if the Service Account is still from the 1.0 copy I registered to the game or appears because of registering the 20-Digit code. Upon registering the code, it never let me choose the service account it went to, did it automatically choose which one?

Can anyone inform me if I will be able to get my pre-order items on my beta character as well as redeem my pre-order items?

Well... first lets make sure what you say is true.

Question: Do you have more than one service account? Answer: Log in here and check your Final Fantasy XIV service list. Does it show 1 or 2?

I believe they both was under the same service account and you just assumed they was two separate things.

When I log in, go to 'Select Service' it shows 1 active service account. But that has been there for quite some time anyway.

Sorry I took so long to reply, wasn't expecting such a quick answer and I just left for work.
