    This doesn't actually fix the problem. It's been an issue for almost 2 full years now, and it still hasn't been addressed. I've uninstalled my anti-virus and disabled my firewall and run as admin. Nothing works.

    Beta 3 worked fine for me, but ever since trying to get beta 4 setup, I've had this same issue. I had to download the beta 4 client from a torrent instead.
    Doing the same thing now w/ the new patch. No antivirus installed, clean install of Windows from the troubleshooting I did during beta 4, program is run as admin and allowed in firewall.

    Antivirus Browser Protection, might be the course, heard of BullGuard & ZoneAlarm coursing issues (Other AV's might also be affected), turn off the Browser Protection, not the Antivirus, the Browser Protection.

    As he mentioned, his AV has been uninstalled, so there shouldn't even be a browser plugin left. And I'm having the same issue, I haven't reinstalled an AV since reinstalling Windows while having this problem in beta 4.
