Thread: 1.0 Player Without EA

Just to be clear, I will need to re-purchase the game for early access, correct? I played 1.0 for 2 months before the game went down. I have the legacy tattoo on the back of my character, but apparently I am not actually a legacy player. Can anyone help with this?

I will answer your question as honestly as can be. Will you need to re-purchase the game for early access? No and Yes. Technically all you need is the pre-order bonus, and to attain that you do not have to buy the game, but to not buy the game is consider Fraud. Can you live with the crime? Assuming you DO but the game, the registration key that comes with it if you bough the PC version will be utterly useless to you. Don't even bother opening the game, give it away as a gift! You don't need the game.

From what I've read yes you have to pre-order if you don't meet requirements to be a legacy character to be able to get in EA.

Preorder get code cancel is what I think he means as fraud. Or buy the game, used the EA code, and give away the game to someone else since you don't need it to play.

Do you have to purchase the game? No

Should you purchase the game if I want the pre-order bonus? Yes, because is the ethical thing to do | No, waste of money.
If you purchase the game, what to do with it? Give it to a friend | Return it | Sell it | Keep it for giggles.

If PS3 Version(Assuming own one):

Its not fraud as there is no binding contract to purchase the game.

fraud (noun)
wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain.

You are telling the retailer you want to buy the game when you know you don't just because you want something they have for people who intend to buy the game from them.

There will be no prosecute and I don't condemn it, but it is fraud.
