2 codes registered to 1 account

So I was clicking away trying to get through the error 3 on my wifes account when suddenly...success, but wait...why is it showing my account as the one logged in? I can only assume this has something to do with the auto-login that process used, because every time I wanted to try for the wife I had to log out of mine and in to hers.
But I have to ask, why is this even an issue? Why would you even allow a person to register 2 copies of the same game to a single account?


I have a ticket in and got an email saying it exists, even though I can't actually find a record of it anywhere on the site. Just wondering if anyone can explain why this is even an option.

That website is useless, this is irrelevant, you just made a mistake is all. You will be able to apply the code you get on her account regardless of who redeemed it from SE members page. Just let it go.

When trying to get the early access code for her, it gives error 2, stating the key has already been used. So it seems relevant for early access.

You tried both keys or one? umm... each key should of provided you with a different 20 sequence PC key. I mean, after you get a key and go to redeem it, it specifically ask you for your account information again... or maybe not. I cleared cache when doing my g/f's code.

Yeah, I just tried looking at my account and it did, in fact, have 2 20 digit codes. So i logged into her account and applied the other code and it seemed to go through...honestly i find the multiple sites/log-ins/account information a bit confusing =/
