I can remember there being many other things I'd rather be doing. I did try to have as much fun as possible, but that could only go so far.

I would really like to see NM's make it into the game, I did enjoy camping them in FFXI and would like them to make an appearance. That said I could do without things like the brown or black belt items or Bloodsucker. I would like to see something in between what we had in 1.0 and FFXI, reasonable spawn timers even 21-24hr is fine fore the biggest ones but preferably something longer than 3min but not 12 hours for simple low level gear and drop rates better than 1% but not 100. Also, taking the lessons we learned from 11 and making most drops R/EX so they aren't swarmed with RMT.
I think that incorporating them into the FATE system could have some real nice possibilities, the ability to force level sync on people would stop high level characters from rolling low level NMs and would also allow the devs to make any/all NMs challenging and enjoyable by applying special restrictions, victory conditions or whatnot.
I like this idea. Keeps NMs from being [Easy Prey]

Half of the fun of 'claiming' an NM in FFXI was being able to show your groups skill while it was killed. I appreciate instanced dungeons so that we can work with our teams, but I would love to see some world bosses to show the public in real time what we can do. Nothing beat taking on Nidhogg in Dragon's Aery with 150 other people watching. I would love to see this come back to the game.
I remember the first time I was in Jeuno and someone yelled that KB was up... I ran out and watched a really cool fight, and got totally into seeing myself there.
