Unable to Update Patch(PS3)

I recently had the phase 4 client on my PS3, but like an IDIOT, I deleted it, thinking it was no longer necessary, so I redownloaded the client after I pre-ordered, went to patch the game, and it gave me this error.

Now I know where patches are stored on the PC version of the game, and I know we're talking about the PS3 version, now. So where do I go to delete the old patch? I can't find it anywhere on my PS3. I just want to play this game for Early Access. Please help.

Where must I go on my PS3 to delete this old patch data? I can not find it. Please respond.

Hmmm :/ I'm sorry man, I don't know, I don't play the ps3. I would've said go check out the fixes or re-download the one from the old forums, but, well.... :\ sorry

The patch data is stored in the game client you would have to delete the whole 6gig client to remove a patch only thing thats deletable is your system settings wich is saved in ps3 save game folder. And seeing as you said you deleted the original p4 client then you deleted the old patch aswel. so i have no clue what is wrong.

Good luck on restoring the data. I haven't heard of this problem yet and I've been tracking all the PS3 issues. If this doesn't work, try to contact SE. I know that answer isn't what you want to hear, but it's your only choice.

I deleted the beta client and installed it again also. No issues. What is the problem again? I think you may have installed Phase 3 Beta client by accident. Allow me to help you check. What is the size of the program? and what version it says it is?
