Gathering Higher level nodes, what level can you gather it at?

I have a simple question. When can I gather the next highest level node? Such as if I am lv 13 but I want to gather a level 20 node, is it possible for me to do this? Or will I have to reach a certain level first?

For a Botanist you will need the Proper item (Main or Sub) and be a maximum of 5 levels below the level of the harvest.
Example:
Level 1-4 can only harvest Level 5
Level 5-9 can harvest Level 5 and 10
Level 10-14 can harvest 5, 10, and 15
Level 15-19 can harvest 5, 10, 15, and 20.

There is also an ability that is gained at a specific point to find 'Legendary' Harvest spots.

i think you need to be 4 level under dont you? so 16 for level 20 nodes.

Level 6 to harvest lvl 10 nodes, level 11 to harvest level 15.

Don't know if it's a matter of not being able to, but rather a matter of knowing where the nodes are. You don't get the ability to detect nodes unless you're within 5 levels of them, as pointed out above. (1-5 for lv 5 nodes, 6-10 for lv 10 nodes, etc.)

Personally I didn't try gathering from something much higher than me, but I imagine the chance for success would be pretty low, given you don't have the gear that would be available when you're actually capable of detecting the nodes.
