I felt the exact same way, and now I'm happy that we get to explore more open-world areas outside of the ones we had for years.I know exactly what you mean. Even with the release of ARR, everything felt like is was completely new. Like it was an entirely different game. At that time, the major cities where basically the only things that remained “the same” in ARR, but all of the area’s outside of the towns were completely different.
At that time, the little kid in my pops out and want to go explore. I want to see what’s around the corner <over there>. But, that’s the same with all of the Main Story Quests and dungeons/raids they introduce with each patch. I want to know what happens next! \(>_< )/ /bounce /bounce
So, i’m certain that the little kid will again pop out when we get to explore the new area’s, follow the new Main Story and dive into the new dungeons & raids. hehe.
