Does someone have an idea or could explain this?

(I found threads in forums with the exact same topic but of course, as it seems to be some umwritten internet law: It is more than 4 years old and left unanswered :| )
In short, the unsecapp is a Microsoft application which is used by Windows to offers support towards compatibility issues with applications/services used on the computer. This application should be safe, but viruses have the tendency to impersonate official files. So if you are not sure about the file / process, it’s best to check your computer for viruses and malware.

You can never be too cautious / careful, so be sure to check your computer for viruses on a regular basis and never open websites / attachments you don’t trust.

If you are using Windows 7 and the unsecapp is currently running, you can check the Action Center to verify if any compatibility issues have occurred in the past. You can find it here:

Click on Start > Right click on Computer > Click on Properties > Click on the Action Center link located under the “See Also”-section at the bottom left of the window.

A new page will open, showing you the latest messages reported by your Windows.
