Need some help with a name D:
I wanted to create Coris' dad in the future and would like to add an h in his name... Where would you put it?
T'eihjan?
T'eijahn?
T'eijanh?
Any (other) suggestions? x.x Or leave it be: T'eijan

If you do end up adding the H, I'd go with T'eijanh. Feels like the most consistent in placement lore-wise (compare with "nunh": the h comes at the end and it's not nuhn).

But also consider that if the dad's name is that, the T gets dropped when used as your own last name, so it would become Coris Eijanh instead. Unless you've already got a backstory cooked up to tuck away that little snag.

Yeah, in the end T'eijanh makes the most sense.
About that letter being dropped, I already thought about that and thought, that Coris went with Teijan because her father is called like that anyway and she left the h so others (Non-Miqo'te) wouldn't have much trouble saying it.
(The h is spoken pretty sharp/like a hiss, no? That's what I remember xD)

Stalked the naming thread and weee, I remembered correctly! xD

...represent a slight hissing/spitting sound that is made when the name is pronounced by the cat-like Miqo’te. Many of the other races in Eorzea cannot accurately reproduce this sound, so the aitches end up going silent when read (Bee, Kooz, Pash)

Hmm, also T'eijanh seems a bit longer than usual male names, huh? And mostly the tribe-letter gets dropped (like with Coris) while she added it in her "lastname"
