I'm thinking to return Elezen for the new patch. The idea to clear thw MSQ with an aurin Meru is... Odd?
She was always an elezen, and I couldn't find any idea for explain her change.

Speacking about the background story of my character, I though about it, but I'm too lazy to write it, even in Italian. :P

Maybe one day...

I've also tested out (some) of the new hairstyles on my character. I like the curls, but still not enough for me to change my current hairstyle. (^_~ )

This one is too feminine for her, a dark sided warrior of light (what a oxymoron :P . So too cute for use.

Next, we have this one. It is a good variation from the other short hair, but it give me some clipping issue with my current glamour, so I discarded.


This one was the best choice for me, until I discovered a great issue:


lool at the ear! the hairs are clipping in a awful way. brr. I discarded it immediatly.

and finally if you can manage the horror:

AAAAAAAAAAAH! Afro Meru! there is no ear, only hairs. AAAAAAAAAAH! Run for your life!

I have a question for the fashion buffs, and niqote:

Aftee setting up a look for drk and nin, i have mnk coming up, and between my inventory and the new hairdo, I'm at a loss with what i should try for my bare handed mnk. What do you look for when setting up glamour for your characters?

I am always partial to Pure white and I like to colour co-ordinate from ears to toes. I am very fond of thigh boots and I usually become attached to a single look over a long period of time.

If you first think about what kind of monk your character is, then you can dress them to reflect that personality.

For example, are they more rough and tumble streetwise? Or are they more spiritual and self sacrificing? Are they aligned strongly with the fighting pits of U'ldah or are they professional Primal slayers?

Once you have an idea, perhaps it will help you clothe them ^^

Thanks! (^_^ ) Each dance costs 80k, so they are quite expensive. (^_^; ) But, since i didn't really have anything else to spend it on, it was a 160k well spent. Hehe. So far, the Thavnarian Dance is my favorite one. (^_^ )-b

Also, i can make gifs like these 2 if people want previews of the other dance emotes as well.

I'm guessing that it has something to do with the new contents which has been released in 3.1, like the Diadem. There are quite a few people running that, mostly because they can get 210 gear from there which rivals the Alexander Savage gear. I ran my first Diadem yesterday and i must say, i had loads of fun when people were starting to talk to each other within the party. Other parties shouting that they found a Rank 4 or 5, while giving others a moment to gather up or help out when needed.

So far, i've only entered the Easy version of the Diadem, but those monsters still hurt pretty badly and i really had to work to keep myself alive with some of the Rank 4 or 5 ones.
