there was a lof of "oh crap!" moment but I can offtank it in a decent way. unfortunately no drop for me.
the bad new is that I will be forced to exp the DRK with a chainmail bikini glamour :P

btw, just watched the trailer. I think there will be a lot a lot of "oh crap!" moment in the MSQ.

I've actually tried how good the connection to my PC from my smartphone (using teamviewer) is, because the maint will start when I am at work and I bet I'll need HOURS to download xD'

I myself finally got the Moogle Delivery Quests done! And i got a snazzy hat from the Deputy! Yay! \(^_^ )/



Since we'll be able to convert the Soldery Tomes to Poetics, i've spend 1300 Tomes to get the 10 Rowena Tokens for an Ironworks Astrologian weapon. I still had a Tomestone & Carbontwine sitting in my inventory, so i'm good to go. (^_^ )-b Instead of placing my character next to the gate of Ishgard, i've planted my character in front of Jenlyns (the Paladin Job Quest NPC).

Same for me, but I logged out in a lonely tower in dragonhead because I change my main to DRK from PLD. [Damn false shiny knight, rotten as their home city... Etcetera.... ]. My token are ready for the Ironworks claymore.

The live letter has started. Interesting thing, they are going to have channels/instances of some of the 3.0 zones to spread the congestion on servers. I presume it's a temporary measure.

Workshops for FC houses look VERY nice and are completely built upon purchase for 1mill gil, there is some familiar BGM

Fabrication (crafting station) looks amazing and gives Large previews of Parts for airships and houses.

Fabrication takes some time to create rather then being instantly complete (It's an automatic craft though). Yoshida Crafted a Hull and it took about 1 minute.

A party of crafters will be needed to Fabricate (some) items rather then just 1 crafter.

----------------Exploratory voyages (Flight Control Panel)----------------- - Get that treasure!

You can have up to 4 FC airships registered.

All FC get 4 - no matter is the land is S, M or L.

See a preview of the airship you will deploy, choose its route, you can see what areas are unlocked for you on the display map.

The airship can go to multiple destinations (Time away will be lengthened) eg. 3 destinations at once takes 24 hours

Voyages will be expanded on throughout 3.X

You can change the parts (How it looks and its stats such as speed) of your airships. So each piece is not permanent.

Parts and the Airships have different Ranks. Going on voyages gives you EXP up on the airship.

Your airship can discover new islands.

Your airship can bring back recipes for new parts (i might have misheard it but same diff)

Airships could even be away for a whole week! You should plan your voyages.

There will be a flight log that tells you where it went and what items were discovered.

FCs can use information exchange to find out where certain items are.

You might hit a mother-load and get many items! Or a single very rare item.

---------------New recruit a friend campaign----------------

Fist Bump emote, Twintania mount, Red Chocobo seem to be exclusive to the new friend recruitment campaign in which you earn ''Chocobo feathers'' and trade them in for the prizes. 8 for chocobo and 15 for Twin.

Twintania mount does a 'divebomb barrel roll'

You get 5 feathers + fist bump emote for just inviting a friend (invite 3 friends = 15) (I think)

You also get bonus feathers if they buy subscription time
150 days, 210 days and 270 days all receive 5 gold chocobo feathers each tier

Previous recruitment friends and their subscription times do count towards this since they are INVITER rewards

Invitee rewards now include fist bump emote, 99 aether tickers and 10 silver chocobo feathers

Silvers are used to buy some gear that makes LOW level adventuring easier.

This infos been released int he patch notes.

Duty finder must use the 'normal' Need, Greed, Pass.

So exercise common sense and only join Pre-made parties in which you agree with the loot rules.

Alexander (Normal)

Trade tokens from coffers in for gear. (A number of them will be in a coffer, might be adjusted in future)

One token can be obtained/person a week.

1 Token A can be turned in for an accessory.
4 Token B's can be turned in for a body piece.

You can play the same turn/level as many times as you like in the week. It's like CT/ST/WoD.
