On the other hand, if they used the a darker teal for the gloves and the boots, then the outfit as a whole might appear to be a bit too "blue" and cold. I don't think that would look good on me. (^_^; )

Personally, i quite like the set as it is right now (as a whole). True, the brown from the boots and the gloves aren't used anywhere else in the set, but it does have 2 shades of Blue/Teal, 2 shades of Brown (taking the belt into account), the Grey on the inside of the coat and the cream/white on the outside.

Ow... I just noticed that there is a hint of brown on the sleeve there. It's not as dark as the brown used on the gloves. You can see it if you zoom in on the right arm:

Shikaree set does annoy me a little. The whole thing is blue, but the gloves and boots are brown
