Remember they said the glamour only works if the glamour can be used by the class that you are on. Darklight gauntlets I believe can only be used by DRG so trying to glamour them on MNK is a no go. If you look through the patch note in the glamour section you woulda read about this and not wasted your 2k gil.

So, how are you guys and gals faring in 2.2 so far?

I was staying up way to late for a working day because of it. (>_<; ) LOL! There is so much to do, that i was having trouble deciding what to do first.

So far, i’ve cleared the 3 new Dungeons (The Lost City of Amdapor, Halatali Hard Mode and Brayflow Longstop Hard Mode) and i was pleasantly surprised by all 3 of them. They are really good, interesting and fun to play. They had fresh mechanics and interesting mechanics, which i love to see more of in the future. (^_^ )-b

Next to that, i’ve started the Zodiak Weapon Saga for my Curtana (Paladin Sword). I was a bit hesitant to do so, due to all the complaints on the forums threads i’ve read while i was still at work, but in the end… It doesn’t appear to be that bad so far.

(Spoiler tags for those who want to do the quest first)

When you finish the “Up in Arms” quest, you will be told to gather 12 Atma stones, scattered throughout the world. Each Atma stone can be found by doing any FATE in a certain zone. Namely:

• Atma of the Maiden - Central Shroud
• Atma of the Scorpion - Southern Thanalan.
• Atma of the Water-bearer - Upper La Noscea.
• Atma of the Goat - East Shroud.
• Atma of the Bull - Eastern Thanalan.
• Atma of the Ram - Middle La Noscea.
• Atma of the Twins - Western Thanalan.
• Atma of the Lion - Outer La Noscea.
• Atma of the Fish - Lower La Noscea.
• Atma of the Archer - North Shroud.
• Atma of the Scales - Central Thanalan.
• Atma of the Crab - Western La Noscea.

Since i need to farm these items in FATE’s, i’ll be trying to progress in the Main story line and far FATE’s when i’m in the zone for the Main Story quest. So far, i got the “Atma of the Bull”, “Atma of the Scales” and the “Atma of the Twins”.

I’ll try to get more of them tonight.

It will take a while before we will be able to wield our upgraded Relic though.

I’m not really sure where i should spend my Tomes of Soldiery on… Should i go for the Weapons? Accessories? Or maybe some of the gear? As it stands now, you can buy Gear and Accessories, just by spending the same amount of Soldiery Tomes (like we did with the Myth gear before 2.2). You will be getting Weathered versions of items, which will have an Item Level of 100. You can then upgrade them to iLevel 110, buy turning them in accompanied with an Oil of Time(?).

So far, i have no idea where you can get one of those Oils and how hard it will be to get them.

The same applies to the Weathered Weapons. You can buy them with “Rowena's Tokens (Soldiery)”, which you can buy at Rowena for 130 Tomes of Soldiery each. Seeing that you need 10 Tokens for each weapon (7 for the Paladin weapon), you will still need 1300 Tomes of Soldiery before you can get the tokens you need. On top of that, you need an “Unidentified Allagan Tome” as well, but i don’t know where you can get them…

So many unknowns! \(>_<; )/

Btw, i got the information regarding the Weathered Weapons/Items mostly from Reddit and Rowena’s shop in Mor Dhona. (^_~ )
