Was just wondering if u all thought the transfer is worth it!

Hi all Im considering moving to balmung for the rp'ing and just more immersion in general and friends and stuff but i was just wondering if u guys think its worth it bc ive heard stuf is rly expensive n stuff on balmung and ive been playing the game for a year but i still feel like rly new n poor n stuff and just dont wanna get in over my head on a server with such established like communities n players n stuff. Like hopefully ill meet some cool ppl and b fine i just also like crafting n stuff and that might be more inaccessible bc of higher prices n stuff? I played ffxi where like a piece of equip would cost so much like u would have to farm for 3weeks str8 so mayb im just paranoid abt like long term mmo communities and high population servers being rly tough to survive in lol

I would say to go for it! The server is really nice and the economy is perfect for those who like to sell the crap they do not need. (like me lol). I moved to Balmung this past Wednesday and I can honestly say that there will always be a large number of people online. So you really do not need to farm for eight week straight (if you're crafty) just find or buy the materials and make it yourself. But it all depends on what you are looking for. Only the aesthetically appealing things on this server are bone chillingly expensive.

Recent transfer from Midgard here! I've been on Balmung for about a month now, and all I can say is that I wish I had moved earlier. I'm not sure what the economy is like on Siren, but things are actually cheaper on Balmung than they were on Midgard, aside from possibly stuff like... housing, which is in extremely limited supply here. I have found the server, overall, to be extremely friendly, and I'd say that unless something is tying you down to your current server to make the leap!

I just transferred here friday, and I have to say I love it! Stuff is a heck of a lot cheaper here than my previous server (exodus). The glamour gear can get pricy though. I was a little hesitant about the rping as I don't rp myself but I love it! It makes the world so much cooler and the immersion is incredible. So I would say go for it!

I'm on Siren also, but I'm transferring back to Balmung this evening. I was on Balmung before for a while and I loved it whilst I was there, so to me going back feels like I'm going home. The community is lovely and there's something for everyone. Very lively server and not as toxic as Gilga :P

I'd say take the leap and go for it, Siren is pretty dead.

I was playing on Midgardsormr and transferred to Balmung at the urging of my husband and his Free Company. While it turned out the FC wasn't quite a good fit, I'm really enjoying the general community and the linkshell I've joined, everyone is so far very friendly! I was worried the world would feel dead as most players would surely just be capped and running end-game content, but I've bumped into several new players and those leveling alts, so the world is far from dead and quite enjoyable. This is my first run on a character and I'm glad I'm doing it on Balmung. Hopefully I'll be able to find a FC to call home soon.
