can i copy my character from one psn user to another

I started playing the beta on one psn user and pre-ordered the game on a different psn user I was wondering if I go to my game save data and copy and paste my character save data would it work?

I think that if you save the character data, then any account that access the game from that client should be able to access the character data.. You would just need to re-enter name, class, birthday, and patron saint.. But if a name is already in use then you need to use a different name.. :/
