So, I know we have a "General Discussion" field, but maybe some of you guys just want to chat and meet people. I won't lie, I'm a social person and sometimes it gets boring not having people to chat with. Anyways, I decided to create " Goblin's Bar," this is pretty much a social thread. Talk, chill, relax, and get to know some of the players; lets build a great community.

Haha, tell me about it. It sucks, these last few days have been the slowest.
Are you a returning player or just recently started playing?

I played version 1.0 here, and I'm loving the re-launch. Just so glad to be getting back into the Eorzea again.

And I'll second you building a great community. I remember when I first got into FF XI, and how great the general player base was. This time around, I was pleasantly surprised to find a really helpful and friendly community during the closed and open beta. Looking forward to a long stay in Eorzea on Goblin!

@ Vamp: I'd like to welcome you back I'm also from 1.0. ^^ I know what you mean, when I first came to FFXIV there community welcomed me and I was in big shock. I came from games that the community was " Be tough or be nothing at all." Lets build all build a great community, and if you ever need help or just want to hang out in game just send me Moogle mail. I'm on my main right now, but I'm making a new account down in the Goblin server as my main. Vigil Abel, if I'm lucky.

@ Darth: Haha, we are all just excited as you are. ;D I see imma have some competition in the Summoning field, but hey we can work together and take over haha; jk.

Speaking of which, are you both planning on PVPing as well?

Speaking of which how is pvp gonna work, I've heard very little on the subject, is there gonna be teams or do you queu for 1 on 1 matches?

Morning fellow Goblins I'm stoked to start my gaming again with FFXIV. I stopped playing XI 4 years ago to get ready for XIV. I'm ready!!!!!!! 1.0's please share any info on PvP if you where able to try it in P4...

@ Vamp: Its understandable, I didn't know about the limit until somebody posted a thread about it in the General Forums.

@ Rash: From what I've heard, from players who participated in PVP was that it was pretty intense. They only participated in team pvp, I haven't asked about the que or whether it has 1 vs 1 too. It's early, so if anybody happens to hop on I will ask about that. Here are some screenshots from TMjolnir, when he participated in pvp

Brewing a pot of coffee as I'm writing this, looking forward to getting back in game! I'll just have to level up to get past this char's restrictions. About the only way to get past the limitations. Hopefully you'll be able to snag your name without a problem.

Down the road, perhaps we can set up server events or at least some events involving a few free companies/linkshells. This game has so much potential right now and with how good the community has been in general, I'm sure we it something we can pull off.
