Thread: used my gf's preorder code on my 1.0 account, can she still make a new account?

You wont have to worry, the pre-order code has nothing to do with your actual game's CD key. Once the game goes live she will get the real CD key to the account. I do believe however, that she will miss out on the pre-order items.

The preorder code only gives access to the game from about the 24th to the 30th with the game being released on the 27th. You still need to register the game key when you receive it on the 27th so that they can know you actually have the game.. But yes, as rsparrowk stated, the moogle cap and cait sith doll are linked to that preorder code, they are what tells the system to distribute the items, and they are soulbound.. :\ ..Your girlfriend will be able to make her own account when she gets her game key, but won't be able to get the items unfortunately..
