    Can We Get Some Answers, Or are they gonna ignore us

    Can we get some type of answers, i mean some reasoning on whats going on. Instead of saying "technical difficulties" just tell us ____ is ____ up(fill in the blanks). I mean i understand mmo's at launch are iffy, but how can it be this bad if they tried back in 2010 and failed, knowing their mistakes, and come out with this. I also understand that early access is going to be iffy, but if you cant handle the load at early access, how are you going to handle launch day. Tired of being left in the dark with a, "We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused." message. Tell us some reasoning behind the madness.(ex.some how screwing up the que and making the game first come first serve with more problems) At Least keep us updated on how things are going more frequently. Every 2 hours isn't cutting it.

    The answer is "You guys aren't on the Japanese servers so you can wait till we feel like fixing your issue, you NA/EU players aren't important until launch remember we showed you this clearly in FFXI so wait until we're done eating breakfast"

    yea I'm kinda sittin in the same boat with MrLinx here. I've been trying to log in since 10am and getting either 1017 you can't log in or NA/EU your worlds arent real/don't exist/Bahaumet came back and finishes Diablos servers Eorzea off for good so go home now. I would like to know if anyone is at least checking into this or updating or something.. this is just getting lame.

    The first rule to crowd-pleasing is: DON'T ****ING DO IT. I don't blame them, you don't reason with an angry mob of people(in real life).

    So, no. They won't tell us anything, because people will still bitch and whine and moan. You can guarantee when they have GOOD news they will share it.

    And before the argument starts, I'm not saying I don't want more info. I would love it. I'm just letting you know it isn't going to happen.

    It is the weekend, they have their "B Team" working on it. Amateur hour will end Monday morning JP time when the senior admins and engineers report to work. Right now all you are receiving is best effort "band-aid" fixes that will probably only make things worse. Just wait another 4-5 hours and things will miraculously get better. We will still get some B.S. response as to what the problem was though... they gotta save face somehow.

    I'm pretty sure the majority of the forumgoers wouldn't understand even half of the technobabble that would be part of the investigation, at any rate, it would probably backfire from a PR standpoint.

    And why is it the answer always comes back to "24/7 monitoring of all SE employee actions"? no business would agree to this.
