Odd Multiple Service Accounts question!

First let me clarify by saying I have no need for multiple service accounts. I'm not even sure why I have 2 right now, but I don't plan on playing multiple character simultaneously, so as far as I know, it's pointless for me to have 2.

Here's the everything: I played FFXIV 1.0. I pre-ordered the Digital Collector's Edition of FFXIV:ARR for Windows PC, and did so from the Square Enix site. I punched in my 18-digit serial code, and got my Early Access code. When I tried to activate the Early Access code, it asked which service account I would like to apply it to. These were my two options:

Can we trade circumstances? I'm a guy who wants to play multiple characters simultaneously. I went to register a friends code today and I didn't even get the "Choose which Service Account" notification. I've been playing 1.0 since 2012 and I am a legacy member. I know my characters exist but, according to my account, I only have the game that I registered using my friends code. It's really confusing. I'm tempted to wait in line as I try to get a hold of SE support tomorrow morning.

From what I read it seems we will have no choice since service account 1 has just the early access code and service account has the CE register to it. This really blows I will basically lose the name i created, the server Leviathan( don't care to crowded) friend's list, good gear. Just so i can get the CE stuff. Square keeps finding new ways to screw with us...

According to the link below the only way to have multiple service account is to by them from square. The only problem the sites has not gone live yet.
