Codex's, Notebook's, Logging book's, NPCs, as long as it's something anything would do. I've jotting down notes in a scraps of paper up til now, and I've got to say it not bad at times but it could be better much better. and like you said it's definitely not a priority right now .... SE Devs probably knows but they've probably to be overloaded with work.

(*Oh a good note about Lore, ever went to Gridania >Conjurer Guild there's a book on a table next to two npcs, that book definitely has lore; confusing at times but good Lore, can't remember The Title but it would fit perfectly in the Corex thing. The Lore reads about the Moons and the Gods of Eorzea, have you ever read that? it's great indeed* )
