Shouldn't this thread be HERE? Not everything needs to go in general discussion.
On-topic: I'll be using both. The deciding factor is how much I'm chatting at the time. Putting my controller down everytime I want to type is annoying.

I use a controller, as it is what I used in FFXI and 1.0 (so I'm just used to it), but as a bonus, it's easier on my RSI, and... I have small hands. Hitting the F1-F8 keys (or even the 1-5 keys) requires me to look down, move my hand, press the key, then look down again to move my hand back to WASD. Targeting on the controller, using the D-pad and targeting filters, is much easier and quicker for me, and because of the small hands issue, muscle memory for abilities works much better for me on the controller as well.
Controller. Movement is just so much better with it IMO.
Now that we can choose what hotbars show up in R1 cycling, can have macros move us to different hotbars to easily move through combos, and can have our hotbars change depending on if we are in or out of battle, I'm immensely enjoying creating a custom controller setup for all the options they give you.
They are also discussing giving us a 3rd set of 8 actions by holding both triggers down, which would give us 192 action slots.

keyboard and mouse
Mouse/Keyboard
I've used my naga so long I can't adapt to the controller. Besides it's easier for me to use my mouse. I'm more responsive and faster with M/KB. More precise targeting.
Surprisingly playing with the controller was a lot easier then the mouse keyboard combo
Back in 1.xx, I was strictly keyboard for White Mage.
Now: I use Controller. Feels so much better then back in 1.xx.
I tried healing with Keyboard by clicking the people's names in the party window, but that lead to several deaths because for some reason, you needed to click the CLASS ICON instead of the name. And clicking that was also incredibly off. I'm sure it's better now but I'm not giving it another chance after playing with Controller for so long

I use both controller and keyboard. Most of the time I stick with the controller because it's what I'm used to as I played XI for nearly ten years. It's really easy to target most of the time using the D-pad. Sometimes though, especially in a light party like a dungeon, if things get a little bit rough and I need to target someone super-quick, I can do it faster with the F-keys.
Played FFXI for the longest with controller but not the only reason I'm using controller, the other reason is say I'm stuck for some time on playing it on PS3 or PS4 at least I am already used to the controller.(I have the game on PC and PS3 currently).
