I use a controller. In 1.0 i used keyboard/mouse but I prefer the controller now. Everything is just so much more convenient for me and does just about everything a kb/mouse does.![]()

I use keyboard and mouse for when serious work needs to be done. They are far more efficient.
I keep a controller around for crafting / walking around town or anything else where extra button presses won't matter.
Controller + mouse
100% controller.
dont like being hovered my keyboard for hours. thats nice way to get repetitive stress injuries
the controller i have LB & RB buttons to tab left and right then i have a nearest target with one button. d-pad i use up and down for the party list.

I find targeting using the controller quite cumbersome. It's much easier to target using keyboard and mouse for me.
Healing only is fine with controller
but I find it a little more complicated to be extremely effective when you have to switch from mob (to put dots or sleep) to healing party
takes some extra time on the controller
apart from that it is pretty smooth
I will stay on controller until I find a battle that really need extremely precise reaction

Controller + Macros FTW!
Keyboard/Mouse. I like being able to use keybinds for my abilities vs the clunky system the controller has to offer.
Tanks are the earth. Healers are the sun. DPS are the asteroids bouncing around the universe asking if anyone saw how they wiped out those dinosaurs.
Just so anyone's aware, on a controller, all you need to do to target your party members is up and down on the D-Pad, there is no difficulty in targeting party members at all.
Target ting enemies is similarly easy, as all you need to do is press the A/X button, and it will instantly select the closest enemy target. Sometimes carby can get in the way, but all you need to do is move forward, or move to the left or right. I just like being able to kick my feet up and enjoy a dungeon instead of getting swass and hunch-back syndrome.
What do you guys feel, regarding controller slots, which are the best abilities to set? Like, in terms of greatest use for a "white mage" what ability slots would u put in your quick menu cross hairs for a controller user?
