I've used the controller in beta and I have to say that it was very well receive. It's awkward at first but after awhile its soooo much faster than keyboard.
I've used the controller in beta and I have to say that it was very well receive. It's awkward at first but after awhile its soooo much faster than keyboard.
My Preferred cure macro is the following:
This will show all the spell information (help text, global cool down, etc.).Code:/macroicon "Cure" /ac "Cure" <mo> /ac "Cure" <t> /ac "Cure" <me>
Use Cure on the mouse over target so I can hover over the party list and cure from there.
If there is no mouse over then it will cure my target (usually the tank).
I also explicitly have it fall through to cure me if there is no target. It may just work like that by default, but I like to be explicit just in case.
Hope this helps!
EDIT: I use keyboard and mouse currently, but I'm sure you could use some clever targeting filters with controller to solve the same problem.
EDIT2: As I understand it, D-Pad left and right is for enemies and D-Pad up and down is for party members on controller. That means you shouldn't even need a clever macro like this on controller unless in a fate I presume.
