Time between end of EA and offical release

So perhaps this has already been gone over, but I could not find it with the search function, so here goes.

On http://www.arrstatus.com/, it says early access ends on the 26th.

Now, I may be nitpicking here, but I want to verify, is the game going to go down for any amount of time before the actual release of the game, or can we continue playing right on through to the 27th?

From what my mind is telling me, which is most likely wrong, 24-26th means at the end of the 26th, the game will go down, and then come back up on the 27th.

Is this in-correct? Any information on this would be nice.

naw, yoshi said that if your already in early access the server will not go down for you, it will only be down for people that aren't in the early access until the 27th then they can start.

Thanks for the response, I was unsure after seeing the ARRStatus website. I know, silly question, but with nothing left to do until EA, I figure I'll have my days planned out.

If anything it will go off 11:59 and come back 1 minute later at 12:00.

According to the details for Early Access, you play uninterrupted straight through to release. The servers are NOT going down.

We don't know for sure. Normally you would be, but Yoshi mentioned a grace period on the last live letter. So they may give you a short time, maybe a day or something.

unless SE states otherwise, I would assume until you get your product code you will not be able to play. I know during some other MMO launches they extended EA for people so they could get their codes on time. Most retail sites guarantee to receive you package by the release date, but I know Amazon does not guarantee it.

I think if it becomes a problem for a large amount of people they might give you some slack. I can imagine some very angry people if this happens.

In all the early access games I've played, it's never lasted more than an hour between early access shutting down and official launch. I don't even remember if GW2 went down at all, they just pushed right into it. Only reason most take so long is because of a small network error or last second update/bug/server error. Don't worry, I'm sure they won't cut you off at 12 AM on the 26th and then make you wait 24 hours to play again lol
