Time between end of EA and offical release

There was an official post in the beta forums, by Bayohne I believe, that said retail codes would have to be registered by the 30th. So there is a few days of leeway to receive and register your retail code after launch.

Thanks for the clarification! I have a strange incident with my pre-order where the tracking number doesn't work and my card wasn't charged. Sure hope my Collector's Edition is still on its way and its just taking a few days to charge my card. Still nice to know it'll be available till August 30th, but that's assuming I'll actually get the physical copy in before then haha.

Edit: Actually having read other similar threads I went and double checked everything again! Tracking number and charge just hit my account, can't wait to get my AAR CE!

this would be great but what about after 30th? Will I always need to use the disk to launch the game or I can anyway start from the client? I'm on PS3
